Our internship program in Haiti will be a journey for young people to experience a longer term trip. This will afford students to grow in the Lord and to live cross-culturally with the Haitian people. They ‘ll have the opportunity to help serve at the House of Faith which provides housing and meals for short term trips as well as help with mission teams in construction projects, feeding programs, orphan care, VBS, medical/dental clinics and any other activity or project they are involved with. When not assisting teams or being involved in other ministries, they’ll experience the daily life of a missionary by attending their churches, visiting new areas of ministry, grocery shopping, running errands, daily housekeeping, yard work, and all duties that keep a household running. Either way they’ll be able to invest in and influence the people in different areas of ministry. Most importantly, they’ll be building relationships with the local people, bringing them hope, encouraging them through their compassion, and showing them the love of Christ.
Interested? Your next step will be to print and complete the application and addendums below; then email them to us (applications will only be accepted through email).
Most interns have had previous experience as missionaries, but are looking to stay longer and learn more about The Vine.co. Our interns have spent time working hand-in-hand with our missionaries and translators to make a positive impact in Haiti. and have developed a love for the Haitian people.
